When global aerospace leader Safran set out to design its India headquarters, the brief was clear: craft a modern, minimal workspace that seamlessly reflected the brand’s French roots while celebrating its deep connection to India. The challenge lay in creating a design language that honoured both cultures—subtly and elegantly—while evoking strength, dependability, and forward-thinking innovation.

We responded with a narrative-driven approach—using art, materials, and form to build a space that felt both global and grounded. At the heart of the concept was the idea of duality, expressed through a curated blend of Indian and international aesthetics. Art and symbolism were thoughtfully integrated throughout, turning the office into a layered visual experience.

Function met finesse in every detail. From smart glass panels that double as whiteboards, to jump-seats that added extra seating in boardrooms, and concealed discussion panels tucked behind custom joinery—every element was designed for intuitive use, and maximised every inch of space we had.
Soundproof call booths allow for private conversations, while an open-plan layout ensures transparency and connection across teams.

The palette is purposefully restrained. Brand colours appear as subtle accents, while lime-washed textures in key areas like the reception lend the space a warm, earthy welcome—eschewing the sterile gloss of typical corporate interiors.
Curved glass walls in corridors soften transitions and bring fluidity to movement, reinforcing a sense of calm and cohesion.

Light plays a leading role in the spatial experience. The primary workspace occupies the sunniest part of the floorplate, bordered by semi-private cabins and meeting rooms that balance openness with acoustic privacy.

The layout also promotes versatility: dedicated workstations offer space for focused individual work, while breakout zones and an in-house café encourage collaboration, conversation, and decompression. Employees are empowered to make the space their own—combining structure with a personal touch.

The result is a workplace that goes beyond function: it tells a story of global ambition rooted in local ethos—a space where design quietly empowers people to do their best work.
